Blackrock Market · Co. Dublin

A little corner of Rome, at the back of the market.

Fresh pasta, thin-crust pizza from the wood-fired oven, and proper espresso — served from a cottage kitchen tucked inside Blackrock Market. Small room, big welcome. Bring your own bottle; leave room for the tiramisu.

La Storia
the story, as your public listings tell it — easy to correct in a minute

The name comes from Rome — the café in the Eternal City that owner Claudio’s grandfather loved best. Claudio, a trained barista and silver-service waiter, came to Ireland in 2005 and brought the family’s attention to detail with him.

Regulars call it Blackrock’s best-kept secret: a snug cottage at the back of the weekend market, off Georges Avenue, where the pizza oven crackles and the menu changes with what’s good. Sharing plates, honest prices, and a host who knows half the room by name.

“We like to keep the price low — that’s the Italian way.” — Claudio, from your public listing
